The PHP language, which was first developed as a common gateway interface and as a server-side language, has great features. In fact, this language offers a respectable level of security, a wide library of functions, and a great easiness of connectivity with database servers. This language has extended its usability to be used in the back-end development. Actually, genius developers have created development platforms using this unique language and have produced two famous development platforms, Laravel, and Symfony. The two platforms are highly effective and highly recommended when it is about developing applications that work on the server-side. Also used by a freelance web designer Singapore.

Introducing PHP:

The word PHP is the modified abbreviation of Hypertext Pre-Processor. It is a server-side scripting language which was introduced as the ultimate solution to resolve some security issues. As a common gateway interface, the PHP language inherits from Perls, but it is unique by its easy integration for SQL queries, especially modulated and designed to become the MySQL queries.

PHP and the frameworks’ development:

PHP is then a powerful server-side scripting language, which means the source code can’t be viewed by the user; users can only view the HTML results of the server interpretation of the scripts. The PHP language is, actually, the PHP is based on an important library of functions that are made to handle a great number of tasks. Exploiting the architecture of the php platform and creating new schemes of connection among the several functions and tasks, allows building development frameworks.

Laravel V.S. Symfony:

The PHP language has contributed generously to the frameworks’ development by being the base of many back-end development frameworks. There are two which are the most famous among them: Laravel and Symfony.

Features of Laravel:

Laravel has the ability of creating database driven applications. This feature enhances the query definition and use with high security level. Moreover, important processes, such authentication, are simplified and can be easier to perform.

Besides, the framework handles new functions and application as objects (object oriented coding) rather than a sequence of code lines. This enables the solicitation, as well as the integration of the new application “update”. This ability is made more accessible with the data migration handlers; the migration is therefore processed in the most fluid and n the easiest way possible.

Features of Symfony:

In the other hand, Symfony, which was the precursor of Laravel, seems to be the most competent to it. The framework has a powerful built-in event handler and a powerful debugger. It is easy to use especially for those familiar with PHP since it inherits a lot of the PHP annotation.

Besides, Symfony makes the template creation an easy task with it teplating engine. The framework is subject to regular and continuous updates, and all the community contributes to the improvement of this free na open source framework.

Conclusion:

Definitely, Laravel and Symfony are not the only frameworks created using PHP. The fact is that they are the most famous and the most powerful. The rest of the frameworks may be derivatives of these two back end development tools. Actually, knowing that Laravel is inspired from Symfony, makes them like an enhancement of the PHP language.
